Welcome to iNaCoMM-2023

6th International and 21st National Conference on Machines and Mechanisms (iNaCoMM 2023) is the 21st event in the series of biennial conferences organised under the aegis of Association for Machines and Mechanisms (AMM) with international status accorded from 2013 and is currently in its 6th edition. The conference aims at bringing together researchers, industry experts and students working in various aspects of design and analysis of machines and mechanisms. The iNaCoMM-2023 conference addresses modern and advanced research aspects pertaining to the field of Design, Manufacturing and the performance of machines, mechatronics, and machine elements. The objective behind such a conference is to discuss the problems associated with modern machinery particularly emphasizing on their design and development, operation, testing and maintenance of the same. The conference also provides an opportunity to the students, researchers and professionals from both academia and industry to meet and share the cutting-edge developments through technical discussions. It also allows the delegates to address scientific and technological issues of the world with up-to-date advancements in the field of Design, Manufacturing and the performance of various machines and mechanical elements and provide information on new methods, techniques, and applications. Comprehensive sessions are planned to address recent advances in Machine and Mechanism Theory with a particular emphasis on modern techniques to cater to the needs of global market with an objective to transfer knowledge from research to industry and vice-versa.

About the Institute

NIT Raipur
National Institute of Technology Raipur situated in the capital of Chhattisgarh, has proven to be "avant-grade' in the field of science and technology over past few decades in this region. With sweet memory of foundation ceremony by our president Hon'ble Dr. Rajendra Prasad on 14th September 1956. The institute started with two Departments namely Metallurgical and Mining Engineering. From 1st December 2005, the institute has become the National Institute of Technology. The institute secured 65th Rank in the NIRF-2022 under Engineering category.

About Department of Mechanical Engineering

The Department of Mechanical Engineering is one of the oldest and premier branches of the institute. Established in 1958, the Department offers B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering and three Post-graduate (M. Tech.) programs in Thermal Engineering, Machine design and Industrial Engineering & Management, respectively. The department also offers Ph.D. program in all the relevant specializations of the Department. It is one of the largest and the only department in the institute with both the UG and the PG programs duly accredited by NBA.

About AMM India

The Association for Machines and Mechanism (AMM), India, is the Indian national affiliate of the International Federation for the Promotion of Mechanism and Machine Science, (IFToMM). The main objective of AMM is to contribute to mechanical design at all levels starting from academic projects to industrial production, thus enhancing the quality and the reliability of indigenous machines. AMM organizes the International and National Conference on Machines and Mechanisms (iNaCoMM) and the workshop on Industrial Problems on Machines and Mechanisms (IPRoMM) regularly.
